There is a lake, and there is a town on this lake. It may have had a name once, but now it's known just as The Lake Town. It is lashed together, falling apart, and struggling. The people here make their living from the Lake, boats and canals are the primary modes of transportation. There are opportunities here, and secrets, for those willing to look.

Lake Town Blues is a system-agnostic setting on a business card. The game encourages you and your players to create the town, fill it with people, and then fill it with secrets.
It was heavily inspired by The Hobbit, although it could be used in any setting that feels right.
