You and everyone you know lives on a gigantic pile of garbage floating on the currents miles above a sunken world. You are the survivors of the Melting, the people of Trashland, and probably the luckiest people on Earth.

--

Trashland is a Together We Go game loosely based on The Past Is Red by Catherynne Valenti.  In it, you play as people making a living on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch  after the polar ice caps have melted.

Includes complete rules for creating Trashland, playing the game, and a glossary of tags and history.

What you need:

  • 3-5 players
  • A set of polyhedral hobby dice
  • Pens and paper

What’s nice to have:

  • A map of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch
    • If you don’t have this, draw a large blob on a piece of map paper
  • An empty bottle, from the trash
    • If you don’t have this, or a clean one, use dice or a random means of picking people

--

Includes the Ship of Thesaurus introductory dungeon.

This is the 0th Edition. Changes may come with feedback, more testing, and as Together We Go develops.
